Are you looking for a new unit to volunteer at?

If the answer is yes, then please get in touch

We are always looking for leaders to help out at our many units within the County. We realise that as a volunteer moving to the area, it can be difficult to find a unit. We are here to try and help make the process as easy as possible for you.

Students – we need you!

Girlguiding South Lanarkshire are calling for more student volunteers to help enrich the lives of girls and young women in South Lanarkshire!

Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers enjoy a hugely varied, girl-led programme of activities, incorporating everything from world issues and science to adventure sports, social action and international travel, and it is our volunteers and leaders who help make everything we do happen.

We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds, abilities and faiths. From running a group to giving just one or two hours a month, volunteering is very flexible and can fit around your studies, other commitments and university term dates.

Girlguiding South Lanarkshire believe student volunteers make an extremely valuable contribution to our organisation, whilst getting lots out of it for themselves. Volunteering as a leader in Girlguiding is a great way to meet new people, gain experience working with young people and in the charity sector, gaining leadership skills and experience, as well as having fun and enjoying all the opportunities and trips available to adults too!

Join us

Girlguiding South Lanarkshire members meet across the county taking part in activities ranging from colouring to canoeing, games to grass sledging, swimming to sleepover and partying to pioneering!
